I am a suck­er for epis­to­lary nov­el­s. I like time trav­el sto­ries that cre­ate a un­der­stand­able past world. And this book is both. It's al­so lots of fun, and well writ­ten.

I did­n't like Siege Per­ilous so I am re­al­ly glad I did not know this was the same au­thor (us­ing a pseudonym) be­fore I got this one and the pre­vi­ous book in the se­ries The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O.

Look­ing for­ward to a se­quel if there ev­er is one.

I have read this whole se­ries (13 book­s????) in a cou­ple of month­s. Why?

* It's an easy read
* It's fun (even if the Skip­py and Bish­op show is get­ting VERY tire­some)
* It's quite dumb sci­fi and that's prret­ty much what I need­ed af­ter a whole year of pan­dem­ic
